EXOTIC ANIMAL RESCUE OF NEW AND UPCOMING RELEASES CALL OF TURTLES Collected RECLAIMED

Dear colleagues and supporters.

Continuing the exotic wildlife rescue, Thursday 28 October, we collected an adult of more than five feet of green or common iguana, Iguana iguana , found freely in the vicinity of Arona cemetery. This is another pet is abandoned and a quarantine of the Foundation.


Today too, we proceeded to remove a tortoise advanced age Testudo graeca, that had been found by a family while walking his dog in the area Nightdress, with Hospiten South Arona again. presents an overgrowth of the nails and beak deformation, as shown in the photograph as a result of nutritional osteodystrophy (bone malformation improper diet).


take this opportunity to remind the next release of sea turtles that will take place tomorrow at 10:30 am at the NEA, as previously advised to the next will on Tuesday November 2, also in the Nea but at 11:00 hours. That day will return to the ocean two turtles rehabilitated in cooperation with the Cabildo de Tenerife and the presence of about 50 students of IES Cabrera Pinto and 30 of IES César Manrique.
